Is there anything else I should know, before I make a fool of myself offering what isn't mine to give?
[ Dio can take the tone any way he likes, that's what text is for. ]

Between this and the way he spoke to him about Henry, he was certainly reforming his opinion on Mikado.]
The deal I have made with you remains the same as it ever was. You are free to do as you please. As it stands, I cannot change the deal without your approval.
However, this deal was made before other vampires 'arrived', and thus they were an unforeseeable situation. Had I known previously, it would have been a simple matter to also ask this of you, but instead it falls to me to make a new deal with each vampire for the sake of peace.
In the end, it is their responsibility, out of courtesy to me, to refuse your offers, and not your responsibility not to offer it, understand?
[Does he sound like a lawyer yet?]
Re: [text]
Thank you. I won't offer it anymore, though. It's rude to put someone else in that position, and I wouldn't have done it if I'd known.
I expect you to take good care of me, if it's going to be like that. I've been working hard to stay in good shape, you know.

A human who had begun to rub him the wrong way. Like a certain cowboy he remembered...]
But the next time you have a grievance with me and how I operate, you should really speak to me in person. Communicating only through written word from a distance seems insincere.
Re: [text]
I don't need constant supervision, I think that would get pretty boring. I doubt you're really interested in watching me read porn all day or spend hours making rice.

I trust you, Mikado. [WELL THAT WAS THE BIGGEST LIE HE'S TOLD IN AWHILE.]
