That mirror with the lions on it? It's a nice mirror, right?

Today it's an extra nice mirror, in that it has the words "I am worthy of love" written on it, in red, with arrows pointing inward to indicate the person looking in the mirror.

There's also a single long-stemmed red rose stuck to one corner of it. Careful, there are thorns!

Dio didn't look in the mirror often these days, especially since he felt he'd let his appearance slip somewhat, but the scent of the rose drew him to it today.

As he looked at the words, something about them just caused his chest to seize up, and if his heart had been pumping, it would have stopped cold, no doubt. This time, there isn't a big scene to come of it though, Dio simply taking the rose and going to sit on the couch to ponder some things.

Things like 'why was that so effective?' Dammit, Mikado.
